Level-5 Considers More Self-Published Titles and American Expansion

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino recently spoke to college graduates at a recruitment seminar in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward where he revealed some of the company's aspirations. These included an interest in an American expansion, as well as the desire to self-publish more games for consoles.

Japanese gaming news site, andriasing, shared some of Hino's commentary on both matters (via Dengeki Online). When asked about Level-5's future development plans during the seminar's Q&A period, Hino explained the company's affinity for Nintendo DS development but also alluded to plans for future (and potentially self-published) games. White Knight Chronicles Hits PS3 in February

More than a year after it premiered in Japan, Level-5's PlayStation 3 action-RPG White Knight Chronicles will finally in North America on February 2, 2010.

As outlined on the PlayStation.Blog, the enhanced North American release, dubbed "International Edition," packs a number of additions to the game, including more than fifty extra quests playable online or off, voice chat, a customizable village that can be visited by other players, and new gameplay dialog to help add "a little more character."

White Knight Chronicles Screenshots: Far Out

The latest screenshots from Level-5's action-RPG White Knight Chronicles cover a wide range, detailing everything from zoomed out landscapes and battle to menus.

Published by Sony, the PlayStation 3 exclusive is already available in Japan, with a North American release expected at some point between January and March of 2010.

And the nominations for best line in an E3 trailer: "I believe in you, Leonard," from White Knight Chronicles.

Chronicles, Level 5's ambitious PlayStation 3-exclusive RPG, launched in Japan late last year. The title is expected to hit stores in North America this winter.

White Knight Chronicles Trailer Tells Ancient Tale of Forces, Power, Love

Level 5's sweeping Japanese RPG White Knight Chronicles is getting a US release later this year, and the company has released a new English-voiced trailer to introduce the title. From what I can tell, the game is a prequel telling the story of a young Ramon Salazar.

Released in Japan last December, White Knight Chronicles should be out on PlayStation 3 by winter.

White Knight Chronicles North American Release Solidified by Level 5 CEO

Level 5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino has confirmed that the company plans to release its RPG White Knight Chronicles (PS3) in North America.

When asked if the game was coming to North America, Anno told GameTrailers: "Yes, it should be, but the launch date has not been determined yet."

White Knight Chronicles Screenshots: Ohle!

Furthering the media bonanza of the Tokyo Game Show are screenshots from Level-5's PlayStation 3 exclusive role-playing game White Knight Chronicles, many of which are available in full 720p resolution for the first time.

Arriving in Japan on December 25 with an unspecified North American release following, the action-RPG sees otherwise normal humans transforming into stories-tall Knights. Along with the single player story, White Knight sports a separate four-person online mode in which players quest with their customized characters.
