A downloadable expansion pack for Undertow (X360) will arrive in the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow, developer Chair Entertainment has announced.
Titled Path of the Elect, the new content brings a new playable race, five campaign levels and four multiplayer maps to the side scrolling underwater shooter. It will sell for 400 Microsoft Points ($5)

There will be no new Xbox Live Arcade game released this week, Microsoft has revealed. However, as previously announced, all Xbox Live members will be able to download a free copy of Chair Entertainment's Undertow from 2AM PST on Wedenesday, January 23 until 11:59PM PST on Sunday, January 27.
Despite the lack of a new title, Wednesday will see the debut of new downloadable content for PomPom Games' Mutant Storm Empire, though no additional details were provided. Read more »

Microsoft has announced the details of the free Xbox Live Arcade game that was promised by Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten in response to the service's recent online troubles.
According to Microsoft's Gamerscore Blog, the peace offering will come in the form of Chair Entertainment's side scrolling shooter Undertow. The title will be available for free to all Xbox Live members from 2AM PST on Wedenesday, January 23 until 11:59PM PST on Sunday, January 27. Read more »

Undertow (X360) is the first release from Chair Entertainment, an independent developer founded by several Advent Rising (PC, Xbox) veterans from GlyphX. The company, which is also working on the multi-medium Empire project with Orson Scott Card, began working on the Unreal Engine 3-powered Xbox Live Arcade underwater shooter as an experiment, just to see what Xbox Live Arcade was all about.
Needless to say, Chair was pleasantly surprised with the results, to the point where the company hopes to always have a few staff members working on a downloadable game. Read more »

Undertow, the Unreal Engine 3-powered underwater shooter from Chair Entertainment, will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday, November 21 and sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
Based on the childhood drawings of creative director Donald Mustard, the game features four different playable units, each with their own attributes. As previously announced, it also allows up to 16 players to battle in its online component.
Undertow marks the first release from Chair Entertainment, a studio mainly comprised of Advent Rising (PC, Xbox) veterans from GlyphX. It is also developing Empire, a multi-medium project created by novelist Orson Scott Card.
