It's no secret that THQ has not been doing well. As part of its restructuring, the company had planned on shelving licensed kids games. In addition, it appears THQ is no longer producing its uDraw tablet.
The original uDraw tablet found success on the Wii, but plans to expand the platform to PS3 and Xbox 360 languished. "Sales of the uDraw GameTablet and related software, and other titles in the kids, family and casual category were far weaker than anticipated, substantially reducing our financial results for the quarter," THQ president Brian Farrell admitted in the company's latest financial report.

THQ's uDraw Games Tablet launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last month, having originally only hit Wii, but sales of the drawing tablet peripheral have been "weaker than expected." So much so, in fact, that THQ has laid off 30 people from the uDraw team at its Play THQ studio in Agoura Hills, California.
"Due to weaker than expected sales of the uDraw Game Tablet, we are taking a difficult but important step to reduce the number of employees that supported this brand," THQ explained.

THQ has announced plans to bring its successful uDraw Game Tablet to the Xbox 360 and PS3, after successfully cracking the Wii market. According to the latest earnings report for the publisher, uDraw tablets for the high-definition consoles will be "exclusively designed" for use with the system; however, no further details were revealed.
The report points to 1.7 million units of the uDraw Tablet being shipped during the company's fiscal 2011. The Nintendo Wii peripheral launched on November 14, 2010, as a bundle with the software uDraw Studio. Read more »

THQ takes a step into the accessory market this fall with a unique tablet controller for the Wii. As pictured below, the uDraw GameTablet resembles the digitizers graphic designers use with their PCs allowing natural drawing motions with a stylus.
