It's going to take a little longer than expected to bring the "ultimate medical entertainment experience" to North America.
Publisher Atlus today revealed that its Wii-exclusive Trauma Team won't make its previous April 20 date, and is now due May 18.
The team aspect is where this game differs from the previous Trauma Center games, as instead of just focusing on surgery, players will get also get a crash course in diagnosis, orthopedics, endoscopy, autopsy/investigation, and first response. Read more »

A new trailer for Atlus U.S.A.'s latest game of medical action and drama, Trauma Team, introduces endoscopic surgeon Tamoe Tachibana. The video shows how you'll need to use her skills to perform a number of different delicate internal procedures.
New tools like hemostatic forceps and the tumor-removing "snare" are just a couple of the gadgets Tamoe will use to perform medical miracles at the end of the tiny tube she threads through tunnels of squishy innards. Read more »

Atlus U.S.A. released a new trailer showing the first gameplay footage from Trauma Team, the upcoming surgical romp for the Nintendo Wii. According to a rather unsettling quote from Atlus PR and Sales Manager Aram Jabbari, "Cutting people open has never looked so good."

With Atlus claiming that Trauma Team--coming from the makers of surgical series Trauma Center--will be the "ultimate medical entertainment experience," the first trailer of the forthcoming Wii title has arrived. Unfortunately, the video offers little more than narration over screenshots, but it still gives you an idea of what to expect next spring.
