Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Tips & Tricks

  • Online XP Exploit

    First, host a Team Sharpshooter Player Match and set the time limit to 20 minutes. Then go into the match settings and change the rounds to 20, then quit the match. Start a Team Sharpshooter Ranked Match with the time limit set to 20 minutes with 10 player slots. When all the slots are filled tell everyone to do nothing when the points screen pops up. Start the match, then play to the end. When the points screen appears press Start, A, Start. Go to match settings and change the match to Team Sharpshooter. Have the winning team commit suicide and then do the same for the remaining rounds. Repeat as necessary to gain a lot of XP easily.

  • Axe Spray Silliness

    On Fremont Street (single-player) locate the Kapone casino entrance. While facing the entrance, look to the player's left and there will be a black AXE Men's Body Spray bottle sitting on a planter. Shooting it once will let you see test footage for Rainbow Six Vegas.

  • New Gear

    After destroying the opposition in single player campaign, don't forget to pick-up each new weapon you come across. While you don't have to keep a weapon and finish a map to unlock it in your customization menu, you do need to hold onto it briefly or your profile will not save it. Another advantage is once you "claim" the weapon, you can die or restart the mission entirely and use it in the stage you got it from. This way, all the enemies you drop pretty much restock that weapon's ammo and you literally will be carrying a portable ammo dump throughout that stage. Note: you need to reload your gamertag's last checkpoint each time you boot the game to get your gear back. If you choose to load a stage without loading your last checkpoint, your previously earned weapons will be lost.

  • Survival XP Exploit

    Create a two-player survival match with a five-minute interval and one private slot. Invite a friend to the match and then begin. When there are only a couple seconds left in the match have one of the players kill the other. The winner will get close to 400 XP and the loser will get almost 200 XP.

  • How to Shoot grenades

    All you have to do is take cover on any wall. Be sure your weapon is on single shot, then fire one blind shot. Hold LT + RT then press and release B. A grenade should shoot about 20 to 30 feet around the corner. Remember: This works with all grenades except for C4 and breaching charges.

  • Camera

    If you are having trouble capturing your face for your custom character or you are getting a message saying picture is invalid, try the following tips. The room may be too dark. Try to brighten it up. Sometimes the camera will not take a valid picture even if you have lights on, so you must take it during the day. The camera may not connected properly or has been connected after the console has been turned on. This can effect it also as RB6:V is very sensitive to creating your custom image. You must have an Xbox Live Account to use the camera feature. However if your Xbox Live connection is down this will also stop the camera feature from working.

  • Outtakes

    Play the Fremont Street level and look for a ledge that has a bottle of Axe cologne. Shoot the bottle. The neon roof of the Fremont Street Experience will change to an animation of a girl in a bikini with some Axe items. This is followed by a sequence with outtakes and early animations.
