Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is getting another downloadable content pack, titled "Raven Strike." It will add three new campaign missions and another Guerrilla Mode map, all available for up to four players. It's due on September 11 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, for $14.99. The PC version will come some time later.

A nasty security hole discovered in Ubisoft's Uplay browser plugin could let naughty people run commands and programs on your PC simply with a few lines of code stuck into a webpage. "But I'm fine," you may think, "because why would I ever choose to install a uPlay plugin?" Well, Ubisoft may have kindly done it for you.

Publisher Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier's first DLC pack "Arctic Strike" will become available for download for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on July 17. New weapons, a new multiplayer mode, and a co-op map will be included in the pack. If you'd like to take the fight from the urban streets of Moscow to the Arctic, $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points) will get you admission.

Despite launching well after its console counterparts, the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has met criticism from players over a myriad of serious issues. The most critical issue appears to affect control input. "WASD and mouse in game do absolutely nothing," one fan noted. "I don't have any game pads hooked up and I'm not the only one with this issue."

Ubisoft has released Ghost Recon Alpha, a 25-minute film that leads into the events of the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Directed by Hervé de Crécy and François Alaux, Alpha follows the four playable soldiers as they try to take out a wanted war criminal. The events of the movie lead to a key event in the game: a devastating attack on a major European city.
