If Sports Champions wasn't reason enough to get a PlayStation Move, perhaps Tiger Woods will be? Sony is offering yet another PlayStation Move bundle, with one Move controller, one Eye camera, and a copy of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. Like the Sports Champion bundle, this package will be available for $99.99.

The NPD Group released its retail-only sales data for April 2011 last night, and it shows some positives signs for the industry. Physical software sales grew in both units and dollars for the first time since November.
Mortal Kombat took the top spot with 900,000 units, edging out Portal 2. It's worth noting, of course, that Portal 2 probably saw more than a few purchases through Steam, which isn't tracked by NPD and may never be. Read more »

EA opted to de-emphasize the titular Tiger Woods from the cover of PGA Tour 12: The Masters, but removing Woods' mug apparently didn't hit them in the pocketbook. EA has announced that according to internal estimates, the game has sold approximately 225,000 units in its first week in North America, outrunning the previous franchise record (Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08) by 17%. Meanwhile, week-one digital revenue for the PGA Tour series is up 200% year-over-year, and the iPhone and iPad versions were the top-grossing sports games on iTunes. Read more »

EA Sports today announced a partnership with Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters tournament to feature the famous golf competition in the upcoming next installment of Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters will launch in North America on March 29 and elsewhere around the world on April 1 for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 (with added Move support). Read more »
