Are you sick of your Sims getting old and haggard? It's so much more fun to keep them young and spry to suffer in your elaborate domestic death traps! Today, EA announced the "Hidden Springs" downloadable content for The Sims 3, which promises to revitalize your Sims with a combination of health spa techniques and literal magic. Why, after the pack releases on August 25, your fit and trim Sim should be able to swim in his ladder-less pool for hours before succumbing to his grisly fate.

Your lovable little virtual torture victims are getting a new expansion pack this spring, EA announced today. The Sims 3 Generations brings new activities for every stage of your Sims' lives.
Your Sim will start out as a child, where he can have an imaginary friend (who can be made real), take dance classes, and hang out in his tree house. Teenage years consist of pranks, proms, and parties. If you're more the teen nerd type, you can have him play with a chemistry set, but misuse will make him a dead teen Sim statistic. If he survives, the adult Sims can plan bachelor and bachelorette parties, throw large-scale weddings, and change their style when they hit a mid-life crisis. Read more »

Cloud-based gaming service Gaikai has finally entered public beta testing, CEO David Perry has revealed on his blog. Five games can now be played direct from your browser, including the previously un-demoed PC edition of Dead Space 2.

The Dreamcast is almost a dozen years old, but it still has a special place in the hearts of gamers. For those looking to relive old memories, Sega has revealed that a new Dreamcast Collection will be coming on February 22 to PC and Xbox 360 owners. Unfortunately, the game selection may prove underwhelming for some fans.
The Collection only includes a scant four games, all of which are either currently available on Xbox Live Arcade or will be soon. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are both up for 800 MSP ($10), while Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5: Part 2 are both on the way. PC users might be pleased to find these games available with enhanced graphics, while 360 players could grab the whole set or download only the pieces they want. Read more »

Sorry revolutionists, you're going to have to wait a little longer until you can escape underground and decimate its thriving civilization.
