The PlayStation Network will be coming back online in various Asian territories tomorrow, says Sony. The planned restoration includes Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malasia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
The announcement was paired with game giveaways planned for the territory. Like the Welcome Back offers in the US and Europe, PSN members can select two PS3 and two PSP games from the choices. The PS3 line-up is The Last Guy, LocoRoco!! BuuBuu Cocoreccho!, Echochrome, Wipeout HD, and Hustler King. The PSP choices are Yuhshanokuseninamaikida, Everybody's Stress Buster, Patapon 2, LittleBigPlanet PSP,, and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival. Read more »

The Last Guy, SCE Japan Studio's people-herding zombie-avoiding top-down action game, will hit North American PlayStation 3 systems tomorrow at a price of $9.99.
A player-controlled Himalayan zombie, the titular last guy is on a mission to rescue the citizens of major world cities including Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles from monsters. Using actual high-resolution satellite imagery of the cities, players run through streets and allies, collecting humans who follow their hurried savior. Read more »

Sony Computer Entertainment America has released screenshots and a trailer from its upcoming downloadable title The Last Guy (PS3).
Employing high-resolution satellite imagery of real-world locations such as Tokyo and Los Angeles, the game pits players against a bloodthirsty horde of monsters and zombies. The titular Last Guy must navigate the streets and alleyways to find survivors, fend off the horde and lead the people to various escape zones for rapid evacuation. Read more »
