Something for all the Morrowind players to read over the weekend. Jason did a litle Q&A not very long ago (at E3) with Todd Howard who is the project lead on Morrowind. There is stuff about decisions made with the game, and future plans:
Plug-ins
there will be patches. We feel we did a very good job, sort of ending our reputation of releasing games that destroy your computer and things like that. But we still feel [Morrowind] is something we want to support, we want to support the community around the mods, and we'll do things in patches that people want to see, and not just bug fixes. [snip]

Bethesda let us know that they have released the first Morrowind plugin. The 609kb download will give you the option to tell jokes, dance the high-kick, play the drum, play the lute and sing, or juggle if you talk to Dulnea Ralaal in Balmora, Eight Plates. More official plugins will be released in the future.

Well I didn't make it much further last night. Too tired, after losing sleep all week to this freaking game. Anyone else just love sneaking up behind someone pulling back the two handed sword then wacking them for no good reason...The only downside seems to be, that I think I killed them, because I knocked them down, then I turn around and they start beating my ass.
Here's an anonymouse Morrowind poem: I am an Ogre Battle Mage, standing strong and tall. People look at me strange, and then they fall. There is no need to be sneaky, when your a bully. I like to get freaky, with your booty. I am an Ogre Battle Mage, standing strong and tall....... killing is my thing, back the fuck up! ---anon

RPG Vault has posted what is probably the latest Morrowind developer Q&A, talking to project leader Todd Howard of Bethesda about the latest game in the Elder Scrolls series of RPGs. They ask him about his thoughts and feelings about the project now that it's done, essential strengths of Arena and Daggerfall that they hope they retained, what he's most satisfied with in Morrowind, if they plans for an expansion pack, and more.

Because I haven't finished it yet, and I don't know anyone who has...Lets see if I don't mess this one up like I did yesterday. Yesterday night, I started up alchemy, can't figure out how to make any potions though, they keep failing, but I can eat those ingredients better than anyone. mmm...diamonds. :)

Because apparently half the people here are still addicted to Morrowind, here's your dedicated thread of the evening to discuss the game. Make sure and give a warning if you're going to spoil a secret or plot point or anything like that. It's these filthy RPG games that are destroying the industry. Cant you guys stick to action games? Here's my brief impressions of Morrowind:
- It's an RPG - I might get it, it looks kind of cool.. for an RPG - Will it steal my life?

Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player RPG in which a player can create and play any kind of character imaginable. Featuring stunning 3D graphics, open-ended gameplay, and an incredible level of detail and interactivity, Morrowind promises to be an experience like no other.
