Impulse Adds Bethesda Back Catalog, Will Not Include Future Steamworks Releases

Stardock has added some Bethesda back catalog games to its digital storefront, offering gamers a chance to buy Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3, and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Many of the titles are available in "Game of the Year" or deluxe versions that include expansion packs or DLC.

Oblivion, Morrowind and Call of Cthulhu Hit Steam

As expected, three more Bethesda-published PC titles were today released on Valve's digital distribution platform Steam, with each game sporting a one-week 20% off sale.

Bethesda's open-world fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion comes in two flavors, a now-$16.79 Game of the Year Edition and a now-$19.99 Deluxe GOTY edition that includes every bit of downloadable content Bethesda released for the game. Read more »

Oblivion and Morrowind Headed to Steam

More PC titles from Fallout 3 publisher and developer Bethesda are heading to Valve's digital distribution service Steam.

Small Dev Steals Assets from Countless Games, Including Oblivion, Wolfenstein, World of Warcraft

Update 3: More comparisons surfaced overnight, revealing that Limbo of the Lost apparently contains background elements of Gray Matter's Return to Castle Wolfenstein, World of Warcraft artwork, and a shocking number of Unreal Tournament 2004 maps.

Morrowind GOTY PC

We received an email from Bethesda announcing that their online store is now taking pre-orders for not only the Xbox version of the Morrowind Game of the Year edition, but a PC version as well. Like the Xbox version, the previously unannounced Morrowind PC GOTY edition contains the original game along with the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansion packs. It will ship the week of October 20, and will set you back $29.99.

Morrowind: Bloodmoon Golden

The people at Bethesda sent along an email announcing that the second Morrowind expansion pack Bloodmoon, has gone gold. Taking you to the Island of Solstheim, and featuring werewolves (and the option to become one), Bloodmoon will ship to stores in the first week of June. Here are some screenshots and there's also this rendered cutscene from when you first become a werewolf.

Morrowind: Bloodmoon Announced

Bethesda sends along this press release, announcing a second expansion for their role playing game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Bloodmoon. Due out in May, Bloodmoon takes you to the frozen Island of Solstheim where the Empire is establishing a new mining colony. You'll encounter frost trolls, ice minions, and wolves among other creatures. You can also become a werewolf yourself. For some screenshots go here.

Morrowind: Tribunal Patch

The official Elder Scrolls website now has a new patch up for the Morrowind Tribunal expansion pack. The patch fixes two sound bugs as well as a crash bug and is a mere 518kb download. Thanks Blues News.

The guys at Bethesda Softworks sent along an email announcing that their Morrowind expansion Tribunal has gone gold. It will show up on store shelves in North America late next week. "In Tribunal, a ruthless new king has taken the throne of Morrowind, while an aging god drifts deeper into madness.
