The Wii game The Conduit is coming to Android devices on March 14, High Voltage Software announced. The Conduit HD will be a port of the single-player campaign, and will run on Android devices that run Nvidia's Tegra system chips. Yes, that means that a mobile port of a recent console game is coming, and the mobile one sports the "HD" title. What a time to be alive.

The newest issue of Nintendo Power has an 8-page feature on High Voltage's previously unannounced Conduit 2, which GoNintendo has confirmed.
The original game, a Wii exclusive published by SEGA, was released on June 23, 2009 to average reviews and mediocre sales. It was rumored that High Voltage would port The Conduit to the Xbox 360 and/or PlayStation 3, but that never happened. Read more »

Having released a trio of so-called "mature" Wii games aimed at the during 2009, publisher Sega has now indicated that it's unlikely to bring any more "mature" titles to the platforms.
Though Sega previously pledged it would "still do mature games" despite disappointing sales, Sega of America studio director Constantine Hantzopoulos cast doubt on that commitment during the 4 Guys 1UP: 01/01/2010 podcast, pointing not just to the sales of its own titles, but those of Dead Space Extraction, an on-rails shooter published by rival EA. Here's a quick run-through of the "Commuter Nightmare" level from High Voltage's upcoming Wii FPS The Conduit. For those curious, a fairly robust multiplayer offering is planned for the title. Up to 12 players can compete online over 13 modes, with voice chat enabled by the Wii Speak peripheral.
The Conduit makes its run on the Wii on June 23.

The All-Seeing Eye in High Voltage Software's first-person Wii shooter The Conduit has nothing to do with the once-popular game server browser, and everything to do with revealing hidden enemies and solving puzzles within the game world. Check out the all-purpose device in the following video.

Sega has announced that it will handle the publishing duties for High Voltage Software's upcoming Wii first-person shooter The Conduit, which takes place in Washington DC following a "vicious alien invasion" by the Drudge.

So we know Nintendo has the market cornered on Wii brain trainers, and walking trainers, and games about collecting bells. But what is there for us, the hardcore gamers? What about the people that dabble in Mario, but want nothing more than to ignore that bell business, kill that obnoxious Tom Nook and take his loot?
Last week I had a chance to preview Nintendo's upcoming Wii lineup at the company's fall media summit. And while the new DS and the handheld platform's strong lineup dominated the news, I was more interested in what Nintendo was showing off on the Wii. After all, my Wii has been dormant for months. I wanted to know whether I should expect four more months of the same, or some real change from Nintendo's platform. Read more »

Independent developer High Voltage Software has released a batch of screenshots from The Conduit, a Wii-exclusive shooter which the developer says will "provide some of the best visuals seen to date on Nintendo's Wii gaming console."
Scheduled for an early 2009 release, The Conduit makes use of High Voltage's proprietary Quantum 3 engine, developed from the ground up for the Wii. The game will include online multiplayer and a single-player campaign, and employs a control scheme specially designed for the Wii Remote. Read more »
