The remake of indie darling The Binding of Isaac is being appropriately dubbed: "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth."
If you've already played the game and its expansion, you'll still have reason to check out the remake. McMillen promises it will feature another Wrath-sized expansion, a new final chapter and ending, two more playable characters, and a ton of other goodies. It will also bring some cut content from the Flash version, including 2-player local co-op, a 16-bit styled graphical demake, and some new music and remixes.

Edmund McMillen's cult hit The Binding of Isaac is being remade by a new team courtesy of a to-be-revealed publisher. The goal is to bring the remake to consoles and PC some time next year.
"It will be a new game with all new graphics, music, etc it will also feature an expansion sized pack of all new content, bosses, characters enemies, items etc," McMillen described. In addition, the remake is expected to add local co-op.

There's surely no better place to spend your Memorial Day holiday than a dank basement, so slap down $3 for The Binding of Isaac's DLC expansion Wrath of the Lamb. Out today, it adds five new chapters along with new enemies, bosses, room types, items, and a new final (final) boss.

The Binding of Isaac downloadable content "Wrath of the Lamb" finally has a release date. The "mega expansion" will hit on May 28 for $3, indie developer Edmund McMillen announced today. Accompanying the announcement are more details on the expansion's features, as well as a new trailer.
