PlayStation Plus members are entitled to a number of games as part of their subscription. In January, Plus subscribers will be able to download Telltale's Back to the Future and Ronimo's Sword & Soldiers for "free." In fact, both games are available to download right now.

In addition to these two PSN games, Plus members will also receive access to Stick Man Rescue (minis) and the Syphon Filter trilogy of PSone classics.

Tuesday's PlayStation Store Update added Lara Croft's latest adventure and a laundry list of downloadable content for various titles and a handful of new demos.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is now available on the PlayStation Store for $14.99; although the famous video game heroine won't be able to bring her adventure online, for the time being. PlayStation Plus users can purchase the original PSone title, Tomb Raider, for a discounted $5.00 price-tag to celebrate Lara's new game release. The "side scrolling, real time strategy game" Swords & Soldiers has also been released, priced at $9.99. Read more »

Dutch studio Ronimo Games has announced Swords & Soldiers, a side-view RTS title bound for the Nintendo Wii's WiiWare downloadable gaming platform. Alongside the announcement were a trio of screenshots showing off the game's look and feel.

The title comes by way of the original developers of de Blob, a property later purchased by publisher THQ. Ronimo co-founder Fabian Akker cited de Blob as a strong foundation for the company's formation. Read more »
