Sony has outlined the goodies and discounts coming to PlayStation Plus users in the next few weeks. As previously announced, the SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta will come to Plus users a week earlier than standard account-holders, on March 22.
Other additions that week include a PlayStation Move Heroes full game trial to coincide with its release, and a launch day discount on Swarm. It will cost $11.99, instead of $14.99, for Plus users. Read more »

Microsoft has once again outlined the next two weeks of Xbox Live Marketplace Arcade games, discounts, Games on Demand, and other assorted goodies.
Halo: Reach delivered digitally through Games on Demand will be $49.99 for one week only, starting today, no doubt to promote the launch of the Defiant Map Pack. And if you love Batman but don't yet own Arkham Asylum, you don't exist -- but the game is getting a price drop to $29.99 starting today anyway. Read more »

DeathSpank developer Hothead's latest unusual protagonists, a group of "50 pudgy blue morons," will make their debut next week when the "action-platformer" Swarm launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
It'll hit PlayStation Network on March 22 and Xbox Live Arcade on March 23, Hothead announced on Twitter over the weekend. The European PSN release, however, will be on March 30. Read more »

The next downloadable title from developer Hothead Games, Swarm, is on its way to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network fairly soon. A swarm of fifty adorable blue Swarmites is the star of DeathSpank and Penny Arcade Adventures developer Hothead Games new title Swarm, announced at E3.
"Swarm lets the player take control of 50 utterly fearless Swarmites and drive them through an intense, entertaining and often suicidal battle for a greater good," publisher Ignition explains. "Run, bash, huddle, boost, stack, jump, push and throw your way through gauntlets of death and destruction in an attempt to collect valuable DNA and ensure that at least one Swarmite survives."
