A trio of new Super Street Fighter IV characters are confirmed in latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, making for a grand total of nine new characters thus far.
Street Fighter III veterans Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley mark the latest additions, and will be joining the existing Street Fighter IV cast and the other fresh entrants when the standalone beat 'em up revamp hits on April 27. Read more »

After recently announcing delays for Super Street Fighter IV and Lost Planet 2, Capcom today unveiled its spring lineup and dated the pair for late April and May, respectively.
Standalone beat 'em up revamp Super Street Fighter IV will arrive for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 27 in North America, followed by a European release on April 30. Read more »

Street Fighter raked in the awards this past year and in classic fashion Capcom plans to bring it back this year with a Super version. Not a whole new game but not an update to SF4 either, Super adds more online modes, stages, and adds ten more characters, including two new ones. Here at CES they let me play the first of these to be revealed, Juri. She's the first Korean character to the series and the first to use the Tae Kwon Do fighting style. Read more »

A new Super Street Fighter IV trailer released by Capcom at CES shows off many of the standalone fighter revamp's new features, which include new alternate costumes, story rivalries, ultra combos, stages and "about eight new characters," among others.
Coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Super Street Fighter IV has been delayed to avoid competition until some time in Capcom's next fiscal year--which runs from April 1, 2010 till March 31, 2011--though that does not preclude its original spring release window. Read more »

Seeking to "avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce" between January 1 and March 31, 2010, publisher Capcom has delayed three "major titles" once slated to arrive during that period.
Lost Planet 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360), Super Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) and the North American release of Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) are now due sometime during Capcom's next fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011. Read more »

Capcom has released a batch of new Super Street Fighter 4 screenshots showing the stages of Korea, Africa, India, the ruined Laboratory and Final Fight's very own Metro City.
Also on display are several of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 revamp's new fighters, including returning pugilists T. Hawk, Dee Jay, Cody and Guy and new meat Juri. Read more »

Capcom has announced a triumphant return to Street Fighter for series founding fighter Adon and Final Fight stars Cody and Guy in Super Street Fighter IV, who all were last playable in 1998's Street Fighter Alpha 3.
The enhanced re-release will bring "about eight new characters," new online modes including 'winner stays on' and team battles, the return of car- and barrel-smashing minigames and a rebalancing when it arrives for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in spring 2010. Read more »

Continuing to highlight the various tweaks of Super Street Fighter IV, Capcom Japan has issued a new trailer that outlines some of the new modes. And while the Japanese text makes some things a little hard to understand, smashing cars is universal.

Following a period of speculation, Super Street Fighter IV has been revealed as an enhanced, stand-alone version of Capcom's fighter sequel.
Producer Yoshinori Ono told GameSpot that the game will include improved online features, balance tweaks to all existing fighters, and eight new characters. Three of the new fighters have already been confirmed: T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and newcomer Juri. Read more »
