Nintendo plans to continue the relationship it started with Beyoncé in her attention-getting 2009 ads for Rhythm Heaven. Having previously noted its plans for "deep and interactive downloadable content to be released on a regular basis post launch," Playlogic has revealed details on the first add-ons coming to its just-released PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 action game.

You'll be able to find out in a few months, as developer Playlogic has dated the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of its dismemberment-filled Unreal Engine 3-powered take on fairytale rivalry for an October 27 release in North America and October 23 in Europe.

As Playlogic explains, Fairytale Fights sees a squad of characters "whose glory days have long since passed"--Jack, Naked Emperor, Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White--"set about on their quest to regain their lost fame and fortune from the fairytale kingdom." Read more »
