Another World Warrior is jumping into the fray with blazing fury, as newcomer C.Viper is being added to the iPhone version of Street Fighter IV. Today, Capcom announced the cellphone-addicted Crimson Viper will be added to the mobile version in a free update.
Previously, Zangief and Cammy had been added to the mobile version's growing roster, which will stand at eleven fighters when C.Viper makes her debut. Read more »

Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono has been quiet since the release of Super back in April, but that is about to change. Ono is set to appear at and announce his new title at a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 24.
The official description for the panel is limited to the Street Fighter franchise, but it is strongly rumored to be a new Darkstalkers game. Ono hinted this in an interview with Shacknews back during GDC in March, when responding to a question about what his dream project would be. Read more »

A free update to the iPhone and iPod touch rendition of Street Fighter IV is now available through the iTunes App Store, bringing two additional characters into the mix.
Cammy and Zangief are your two playable newcomers, joining Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Abel, and M. Bison.
The iPhone and iPod touch game is also playable on, but not optimized for, iPad.

Capcom has confirmed that Cammy will be added to the iPhone version of Street Fighter IV as a free update, but no date was given.
New characters have been expected for the game, but it's nice to see at least one added as a free update.

The extra costume packs available for Street Fighter IV as DLC will be 50% off from now until March 31 on the PlayStation Store.
The full costume pack, which includes an alternate outfit for all of the characters is only $6.25.

We knew which characters would be available. We knew it would be released in March. We knew we were skeptical. Regardless of all of that, Street Fighter IV is now available on the iPhone and iPod Touch at $9.99 through the iTunes App Store.
The iPhone version was officially released during Capcom's Super Street Fighter IV Fight Club event at Game Developers Conference 2010.

Released tonight at GDC 2010, the iPhone version of Street Fighter IV is extremely impressive.
The game features 8 fighters: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Abel, and M. Bison. The fighters can be used for head-to-head multiplayer over Bluetooth or for solo play modes including Dojo mode, which challenges the player to complete increasingly difficult trials while teaching the basics of the port. The pint-sized version of Street Fighter IV will be released on the iPhone in March for $9.99. How about some new screens to celebrate?
I haven't yet gotten to play this version, but I did see it in action all the way back at Tokyo Game Show 2009. It was impressive then and I'm hoping Capcom has polished the game considerably since last September. Read more »

Coming from SlideToPlay, details have emerged for the upcoming iPhone version of Street Fighter 4, including the game's roster, modes, and pricing. The title will include a requisite Tournament mode, pitting players against an increasingly difficult set of opponents, as well as challenges in the game's "Dojo" mode.

Following a period of speculation, Super Street Fighter IV has been revealed as an enhanced, stand-alone version of Capcom's fighter sequel.
Producer Yoshinori Ono told GameSpot that the game will include improved online features, balance tweaks to all existing fighters, and eight new characters. Three of the new fighters have already been confirmed: T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and newcomer Juri. Read more »

Street Fighter IV for PC is now available for pre-order with a 10% discount on digital distributors Steam and Impulse, bringing Capcom's fighter down to $35.99.
Street Fighter IV PC is released on July 7, packing several new graphical filter effects and Games for Windows Live support to give achievements, online play and rankings. Read more »
