Creative Assembly's RTS Stormrise will be one of the first PC games to require both a DirectX 10-capable video card and Windows Vista, according to an interview on PC Games Hardware.
"Stormrise has been designed for DirectX 10 and Vista only right from the start," said Stormrise lead designer Artem Kulakov, who later clarified: "Vista only. DX10 only. No fallback option. We have never suggested this or hinted at it, so it shouldn't be a surprise." Read more »

The latest trailer for Creative Assembly's console RTS title Stormrise shows off the game's "line of sight" camera view, which allows players to view battles from an almost third-persony angle.
Stormrise is set for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March.

Sega put out a bunch of unit renders for Creative Assembly's in-development RTS Stormrise, and we've coupled them with the provided unit descriptions for a look at the Echelon, one of the two main factions in the game.
Stormrise is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2009.

I'm going to guess most people aren't familiar with Stormrise yet, so just in case: Stormrise a futuristic console RTS coming from Creative Assembly, the developers of the Total War series. Which is a really great series.
That doesn't mean Stormrise (PC, PS3, X360) will necessarily be any good, but it's certainly worth watching more than your average generic game. Here's a look at how things are progressing so far: Read more »

Publisher Sega has unleashed a giant, scary-looking monster in a few new screenshots for Stormrise, the futuristic strategy game from Total War series creator Creative Assembly.
The game was originally announced as a console exclusive, made only for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but hardware maker AMD outed a PC version is also in the works. Read more »

Creative Assembly, the studio behind the Total War series of PC real-time strategy games, has unveiled Stormrise, a console-exclusive RTS due on Xbox 360 and PS3.
As with most console RTS projects, the game promises a simple control scheme that will "revolutionise" the genre. Multiple vertical layers of combat--air, surface, underground--are said to set the game apart from other RTS efforts. Read more »
