Two Worlds II will launch in North America and the UK on January 25, 2011, TopWare Interactive has revealed, after it was delayed for reasons nobody could quite agree upon.
Reality Pump's fantasy RPG sequel was originally due to launch in September 2010 but was delayed for, according to North American publisher SouthPeak Games, "heavyweight quality assurance." However, TopWare, the game's European distributor, took issue with this, insisting that it was complete and only delayed to avoid a crowded release schedule. Read more »

Yesterday, publisher SouthPeak revealed it would delay the upcoming Two Worlds sequel until January 2011 to perform some "heavyweight quality assurance" on the title before it hit stores. This morning however, TopWare Interactive--a subsidiary of the game's European distributor Zuxxez--says the reasoning for the delay is "factually incorrect." Read more »

Publisher SouthPeak has delayed Two Worlds II until January 2011, which is after delaying the game until October beyond its original release date of Halo: Reach's September 14, reports Joystiq.
The game will receive some extra time in the oven and undergo "heavyweight quality assurance," according to SouthPeak. Look for Two Worlds II in January 2011 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Publisher SouthPeak Interactive and developers TopWare Interactive and Reality Pump have announced that Two Worlds II, the follow-up to the original RPG, will be released in the United States, Canada and South America on September 14, 2010. European gamers must wait until September 17th to grab the game.
"TopWare and Reality Pump have spent a tremendous amount of time listening to feedback based on the original game," said Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak. "If the reaction we've seen so far from the press is indicative of what's to come, we have a game that will be seen as a benchmark in the genre. 'Epic' is a word that's overused and worn-out when it comes to games like this, so we've created a new word for Two Worlds II: Astronepic. Yeah, it's that good." Read more »

Not content with mere screenshots and trailers, publisher TopWare Interactive has unleashed a trio of "MoveShots" (defined as "3 second videos revealing gameplay shorts") from Reality Pump's upcoming action-RPG Two World II.
Explained TopWare in today's mailing: "These, so-called, MoveShots serve as a very vivid forecast into the Antaloor universe featured in 'Two Worlds II' as well as dispelling any rumors about the possibility of doctored screen shots, which, unfortunately, are all too common throughout the modern day videogame industry." Reality Pump's action-RPG Two Worlds II will simultaneously arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next spring, studio owner TopWare confirmed today.
Though the game's official website has been displaying logos of all four platforms for some time now, TopWare waited until today to "officially" reveal that the game--announced for PC, Mac and "next-gen consoles"--was due on Xbox 360. The company later confirmed the PlayStation 3 version and simultaneous release plans to Shacknews. Read more »

"Those tree stumps around here are too short for this," he tells me. "But there's a crypt in the old drowned cemetery that'll work nicely." Only later did I realize the horrible truth behind his words. Only later did I consider that he had been hitting on me.
Two Worlds II is slated to hit PC, Mac and unspecified "next-gen consoles" this winter, with developer Reality Pump returning to helm the action-RPG sequel. The planned "Temptation" add-on for the original Two Worlds (PC, Xbox 360) was scrapped in favor of the sequel, which features a "revolutionary new engine called GRACE."
