Andrew Lloyd-Webber, composer of numerous hit musicals such as the Phantom of the Opera and Cats, may soon see his works adapted into SingStar-style singalong videogames.
Webber's company Really Useful Group is shopping the concept around to various publishers, including Electronic Arts. Read more »

Brighton-based developer Zoe Mode will open a new studio in London on September 1 of this year, the developer announced today.
Previously branded Kuju Brighton to reflect parent company Kuju Entertainment, Zoe Mode's developed titles include Crush (PSP), the SingStar karaoke series on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, and the upcoming multiple-instrument rhythm game Rock Revolution (PS3, 360). Read more »

Within an announcement detailing the tent at the upcoming Coachella Festival, Sony Computer Entertainment America confirmed that the first PlayStation 3 entry in SCE Studios London's karaoke series SingStar will hit North America on May 20.
Demonstrated at countless Sony events since its formal unveiling in 2006, the PlayStation 3 edition of SingStar arrived in Europe last fall.
