In 2008, 3DMark maker Futuremark launched Futuremark Games Studio, a new wing focused on making games rather than benchmarks, which went on to release space FPS Shattered Horizon, mobile puzzler Hungribles, and tower defense Unstoppable Gorg. Now, it's lopped that wing off and sold it to fellow Finnish company Rovio, the creator of Angry Birds.

Zero-gravity PC FPS Shattered Horizon is receiving another free content update, developer Futuremark has announced.

The 'Last Stand' pack will add AI-controlled bots to the multiplayer shooter, letting you pad out servers or simply play offline for once. As it continues to test the upcoming "Moonrise" add-on for Shattered Horizon (PC), developer Futuremark has issued screenshots of the zero-G shooter's new maps.

Of course, we still don't know exactly when the four new maps will be released--"the work is almost complete and we will have more details for you soon," said Futuremark--but we do know that they'll be free, with those that pre-ordered the game able to help test.

Having previously promised to support Shattered Horizon with free "new levels and features," developer Futuremark Game Studios today announced the first expansion for its zero-gravity PC-exclusive multiplayer shooter.
