An iPhone and iPod touch port of Apogee's mid-nineties shooter Rise of the Triad will "soon be available," Apogee Software LTD off-shoot Apogee Software LLC confirmed today.
Super Methane Brothers developer Mobilia Interactive is behind the port, which promises "a number of customizable control schemes" in addition to "four full game episodes" and the expected five playable characters. Read more »

Last week, Good Old Games revealed that it would start selling old Apogee-published games, beginning with Duke Nukem 3D. Today, the online retailer added a second Apogee offering to its storefront--the classic PC shooter Rise of the Triad: Dark War.
Originally conceived as a follow-up to Wolfenstein 3D, the shooter puts players in the HUNT (High-risk United Nations Taskforce) squad, providing a convenient excuse to shoot people and blow things up. The DRM-free download will run you just $5.99. Read more »
