This has all happened before, but will all of it happen again? As it did last October, Valve has briefly cut the Steam price of Red Orchestra to a paltry $5. That's 66% off!
The sale, which lasts all weekend, is meant to celebrate the latest update to Tripwave's tactical PC shooter. That patch brought about Steam achievements and a new map.

Tripwire's tactical FPS Red Orchestra will soon see the addition of Steam achievements and a new free map, according to the developer.
The map, "Fallen Heroes," is set in the Russian Red Square. Planned for inclusion in the initial release, Fallen Heroes was cut and forgotten for years. Tripwire recently passed the map to community mapper Kevin "Dr. Guppy" Butt, who completed it for the free release. Read more »

Not content with offering up user-created mods for Valve-developed Source-engine powered games, Valve has expanded Steam's offerings to include free mods for Tripwire's 2006 first-person shooter Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 (PC).
Available now, the first Red Orchestra mod on Steam is Mare Nostrum, which brings three nationalities to the game along with 8 new maps, 8 weapons, and 10 vehicles. Read more »
