(Beer) Pong Toss Pro Trailer Lampoons Politican

Back when JV Games first unveiled its downloadable WiiWare game Beer Pong, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal raised such a ruckus about the title promoting underage drinking that the company renamed it to Pong Toss.

Now, with JV Games planning to unleash a sequel--Pong Toss Pro--as a WiiWare download later this month, it's released a trailer lampooning the politician. "Watch it for your country!!!" a company representative declared upon passing the video along. Read more »

Raven Squad Trailer Blends FPS, RTS and Cheese

Rated UE for "Unnecessary Explosions," a cheesy new trailer for FPS-RTS hybrid Raven Squad promises "terrible voice acting, awful one liners and KICK ASS gameplay."

Developed by Atomic Motion and bearing the danger-filled subtitle 'Operation Hidden Dagger,' Raven Squad is slated for release on PC and Xbox 360 in the fall.

Raven Squad Screenshots Flesh Out RTS/FPS Hybrid

The selling point of SouthPeak and Evolved's new shooter Raven Squad--first announced last July--will stem from its mix of RTS and FPS gameplay.

"Players are able to switch between the two genres and tackle the situation however they like," says publisher Sandbox in releasing this new batch of screens.

RTS-FPS Hybrid Raven Squad Coming to PC, 360

SouthPeak Games has announced Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger, a "unique blending of real-time strategy and first-person shooter genres" for PC and Xbox 360.

Set in the near future, Raven Squad puts players in control of eight mercenaries across two groups. Each is said to "possess distinctive skills and weaponry," with players able to switch between RTS and FPS gameplay at will. Read more »
