It would appear that Nathan Drake is going to go through a spat of déjà vu before his next adventure unwinds. According to CVG, an Uncharted Collection will launch on the PlayStation 3 next month.
The Uncharted set is scheduled to arrive alongside the previously confirmed Resistance Collection. The Uncharted bundle had briefly appeared on Best Buy's website; however, it has since been removed. The game was reportedly priced for $39.99 and set to launch on July 22. Read more »

[Update - 4:30PM] Though it will not be added to the Greatest Hits library, Sony has dropped the price of ModNation Racers to $39.99 on the PS3 and to $19.99 on the PSP.
[Original Story] Sony has selected an additional seven PlayStation 3 games for inclusion in its Greatest Hits program, knocking the prices of the following titles down to $29.99 along with fancy new boxes.In the case of the previously announced Greatest Hits version of Demon's Souls, it also means a fresh set of copies, making the excellent game a bit easier to find. Following an analysis of review scores and the value of a fast framerate over graphic quality, Insomniac has stated that just-released platformer Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time (PS3) is "probably" its last game to run at 60 frames per second.
"There is virtually no advantage in sales or reviews of a 60 fps game versus a 30 fps game," reads a blog post from Mike Acton, the studio's engine director. "However it does appear that gameplay scores are also influenced by graphics scores. i.e. Better looking games appear to be more 'fun' to reviewers." Read more »

Insomniac's latest sequel to its Ratchet & Clank series of action platformers has officially grown by one, as Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time was sent off to manufacturers today.
The PlayStation 3 game is set for release on October 27.

The latest entry in Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank franchise is due at North American retailers on October 27, the developer officially confirmed today via Twitter.

With Comic-Con now well underway, publisher Sony has issued some new screenshots and trailers highlighting Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time (PS3).
The fall-due action-adventure sequel includes a fan-designed weapon thanks to the recent "My Blaster Runs Hot" contest. Unfortunately, the one that would turn enemies into grilled cheese sandwiches didn't make it. Instead, we get the Spiral of Death, which creative director Brian Allgeier describes as sort-of skill-based "deadly yo-yo." Read more »

While developer Insomniac has long teased a new Ratchet & Clank game for this year, publisher Sony Computer Entertainment today made it official, revealing that the next PlayStation 3 adventure for the lombax-robot duo is subtitled "A Crack in Time."
The action-adventure platformer picks up where last summer's downloadable entry Quest for Booty left off, and promises to answer "some of the franchise fans' biggest questions" through the magic of time travel. It's slated to hit retailers this fall.
