UPDATE (8/31) - Microsoft has confirmed to Shacknews that September 14 is the worldwide release date.

ORIGINAL STORY - The Xbox Live Arcade version of the Saturn classic Radiant Silvergun has been dated and priced, at least for Japan. The remake will hit on September 14, for $15 (1200 MSP). It features revamped high-def visuals and online co-op play. Radiant Silvergun was a cult hit in its day, revered for its weapons, clever boss fights, and enemy chaining system.

At Microsoft's press briefing at Tokyo Game Show 2010, the company announced five Xbox 360 exclusive partnerships with Japanese development companies. Overall, details were light, but there are some big developers involved, including Suda-51.
