The Dreamcast is almost a dozen years old, but it still has a special place in the hearts of gamers. For those looking to relive old memories, Sega has revealed that a new Dreamcast Collection will be coming on February 22 to PC and Xbox 360 owners. Unfortunately, the game selection may prove underwhelming for some fans.
The Collection only includes a scant four games, all of which are either currently available on Xbox Live Arcade or will be soon. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are both up for 800 MSP ($10), while Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5: Part 2 are both on the way. PC users might be pleased to find these games available with enhanced graphics, while 360 players could grab the whole set or download only the pieces they want. Read more »

The PC version of Puzzle Quest 2 can be had for $13.99 (down from $20) from now until Thursday at 4PM PST though Steam. This represents 33% of glorious digital savings.
Puzzle Quest 2 is out now for the PC, Nintendo DS, and Xbox Live Arcade. Versions are planned for iOS devices and the PSP. Read more »

Puzzle Quest 2 will spread to yet another platform, developer Infinite Interactive has announced, as a downloadable PSP release of its RPG-ish puzzler is in the works.
Infinite explains that the PSP edition "will have all your favorite Puzzle Quest 2 content... along with a new Elite Mode, where the battles will be tougher and the rewards far greater!" It's scheduled for release "towards the end of 2010" via the PlayStation Store. Read more »

Xbox Live's Major Nelson has released the Live Marketplace content schedule for the month of September.
Headlining the month are the Xbox Live Arcade releases of Sonic Adventure and Plants vs. Zombies. At the end of September, Microsoft will kick-start a new promotion -- dubbed the "Game Feast" -- which will spotlight four new Xbox Live Arcade titles under the new promotional banner.Major Nelson also revealed that from September 17 to September 20, Xbox Live Silver members will have free access to online multiplayer and other subscription-exclusive bonuses, which are ordinarily reserved for those who pay for Xbox Live's "soon-to-be more expensive" Gold service. [Updated: 08/09/2010] Infinite Interactive confirms that August 12 is the North American release date for Puzzle Quest 2. Other regions will receive the game on August 13.

Although Major Nelson has listed the online-only shooter Blacklight: Tango Down for a July 7 release on the Xbox Live Arcade, an Ignition spokesperson confirmed to Shacknews that title has "not received a release date" and can only confirm the game is "coming soon." Puzzle Quest 2 will be released on the Nintendo DS tomorrow, but those of you waiting for the Xbox Live Arcade version will not have to wait much longer. The Xbox Live Arcade version of the puzzler / RPG will release on June 30 for 1200 MS Points ($15).

Following numerous rumors and a leaked internal document, SEGA today confirmed that it will be bringing "classic titles from its popular Dreamcast console" to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade downloads.
"Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be the first two classics made available," the company says, "with Sonic leading the pack in Fall 2010 for the 11th anniversary of the launch of the Dreamcast in the United States." According to the Sega PressVault, both titles are due to arrive in Q3 2010, so between July 1 and September 30, 2010. Read more »

Joining its previously announced Nintendo DS and Xbox 360 brethern, Puzzle Quest 2 is also coming to PC, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad by way of publisher Namco.
Infinite Interactive's sequel to the scarily addictive puzzle-RPG will hit PC in the summer and "will be digitally distributed from Namcogames.com and other leading portals." The iPhone, iPod touch and iPad versions will then follow "later this year." Read more »

The Nintendo DS edition of Puzzle Quest 2 will head off to North American retailers on June 22, D3Publisher confirmed today.
Infinite Interactive's gem-matching puzzle-RPG sequel boasts "new weapons, spells, and shields" along with four character classes: War Mage, Inquisitor, Barbarian, Assassin.

When Puzzle Quest 2 was first announced, way back in November 2009, there wasn't much in the way of media for the puzzling Ninteno DS and Xbox 360 sequel.
That changed today, with D3Publisher passing along more screenshots plus a trailer that offers a glimpse of what players are in for when Infinite Interactive's color-matching RPG hits Nintendo DS and Xbox 360 (as an Xbox Live Arcade download) this spring. Read more »
