If you're excited by mud, noise and the phrase "real-time terrain deformation," you'll be glad to hear publisher THQ has announced that Rainbow Studios' off-road racer MX vs. ATV Reflex is coming to PC this holiday season, exclusive to Steam in North America.
As you can imagine, MX vs. ATV Reflex involves zipping around dirty places in a variety of scruffy vehicles with honking great wheels. Interestingly, the aforementioned beefy tyres carve up the track as you race, changing how it plays. Read more »

Boasting a "new and unique vision of soccer video games," Ubisoft today unveiled Pure Futbol, a new five-on-five soccer game being developed by Ubisoft Vancouver.
An over-the-shoulder camera view and "no referees, no rules -- just soccer" are said to help Pure Futbol focus on "the intense, physical and spectacular aspects of the sport." Read more »

"All your off-roading fantasies are about to come true," declares this trailer for the downloadable MX vs. ATV Reflex demo now available on PlayStation and Xbox 360.
Rainbow's latest hits North American retail in PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PSP form on December 1. Hopefully we get a making-of or behind-the-scenes look at this ad before then, because a poorly acted spot starring bikini-clad models and goofy male teenagers is just brimming with potential for hilarious and awkward moments.
