New Prince of Persia Game Due Alongside Movie

A new Prince of Persia video game will be released in May 2010, the same month the feature film based off the franchise hits theaters, publisher Ubisoft revealed today.

Dubbed "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands," the title is in development for "consoles and handhelds," and is said to mark a return to the "Sands of Time storyline" that inspired the upcoming film. The company added that the new game will pack "many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations." Read more »

CSI: Deadly Intent Demo Hits Xbox Live

It may not be the corpse-centric demo you were hoping for, but should you be interested in perusing a crime scene or two, a demo of CSI: Deadly Intent can be found on on Xbox Live.

The latest from Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island developer Telltale Games, the television show-inspired adventure-game arrived at North American retailers today in PC, Xbox 360 and Wii form. Lucidity, South Park Gracing XBLA This Wednesday

LucasArts' artsy platformer Lucidity and Doublesix' self-explanatory South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play! both arrive on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.

Each game will cost you 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Footage of Lucidity--which is also coming to PC--can be found here, while a South Park trailer is exists on the official site. And if you can't decide, there are always the trial versions. Read more »

Lucidity Trailer Launches Cuteness Missiles

If you like Comic Mischief, you'll love Lucidity, or so this launch trailer implies. The downloadable LucasArts platformer--a mixture of Lemmings and Eets--was developed by the guys that worked on The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition.

The game arrives next Wednesday, October 7, on Xbox Live and PC. Price: $10.

LucasArts' Lucidity Priced at $10

LucasArts has revealed that downloadable "puzzle platformer" Lucidity will run 800 MS Points ($10) on Xbox 360 and $9.99 on PC when it hits next Wednesday, October 7.

Crafted by the internal LucasArts team responsible for The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, Lucidity tasks players with placing various objects in the path of protagonist Sofi to ensure safe passage through her varied dreamscapes. Read more »

CSI Developer Diary Warns of 'Deadly Intent'

Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max developer Telltale is once again venturing into the fun-filled world of investigating Las Vegas crimes and corpses with CSI: Deadly Intent. And with the release date approaching, that can only mean one thing: a trailer.

New LucasArts Game 'Lucidity' Revealed (Updated)

Update: More details and the first screenshots of Lucidity have arrived, with LucasArts specifying that the downloadable game will hit PC and Xbox 360 on October 7.

The company also noted that the "puzzle platformer" was crafted by the same internal team responsible for the recent Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition remake. Read more »
