To get an Eevee, first head to Ecruteak Pokemon Center to trigger a scene with Bill. Then head back to Goldenrod and enter the house with the yellow roof near Game Corner to claim your Eevee. Pokemon! A guy on the west side of the fifth floor of the department store will trade a Drowzee for a Machop. Its holding a Macho Brace as an added bonus.

• Mystery Goodies at Azalea Town in Johto

  Item! To get the fire-enhancing Charcoal for free, return the missing Farfechd in Ilex forest and head back to the trainers house in Azalea. Item! Once you have Surf and Strength, go to Slowpoke Well. A man down the bottom will give you a Kings Rock. Move! Theres a move tutor in Ilex forest wholl teach Headbutt for free.

• Mystery Goodies at Union Cave in Johto

  Pokemon! You can get a wild Lapras on the bottom floor of Union Cave, but only on Fridays. Youll need Surf to find it.

• Mystery Goodies at Ruins of Alph in Johto

  Items! The four chambers of the Ruins hide secret doors leading to four items. Chamber 1: The northern most Ruin. Use an Escape Rope at the inscription to open the door. Chamber 2: In the ruin to the south across the lake use Flash to open the chamber. Chamber 3: Accessed from Union Cave by moving a boulder. The door will open if you have a Water Stone in your bag. Chamber 4: Accessed from Union Cave, west of Chamber 3. Have Ho-Oh in your party to open the door here.

  In the same room where you have to complete a picture puzzle of Ho-Oh, there is a plaque that has a word that is spelled using Unowns. Complete the following steps to get the hidden items: The word is "Ho-Oh". You must have Ho-Oh first in your roster. The items you receive are Charcoal, Leppa Berry, Life Orb, and Revival Herb. In Pokemon HeartGold, Ho-Oh is obtained in the Bell Tower. In Pokemon SoulSilver, Ho-Oh is obtained after you have defeated the Elite Four.

• Hidden items in Ruins Of Alph (Room with the Aerodactyl Puzzle, accessible by Surfing)

  In the same room where you have to complete a picture puzzle of Aerodactyl, there is a plaque that has a word that is spelled using Unowns. Complete the following steps to get the hidden items: The word is "Light". Use Flash while facing the plaque. The four items you receive are Energy Root, Heal Powder, Moon Stone, and Sitrus Berry.

• Hidden items in Ruins Of Alph (Room with the Kabuto Puzzle)

  In the same room where you have to complete a picture puzzle of Kabuto, there is a plaque that has a word that is spelled using Unowns. Complete the following steps to get the hidden items: The word is "Escape". You must use an Escape Rope while facing the plaque. You can easily get an Escape Rope at the Violet City Pokemart. The four items you receive are Energy Powder, Heal Powder, Oran Berry, and Pecha Berry.

• Secret box wallpapers and Pokemon eggs

  Go to the Violet City Pokemon Center. Notice the man next to the PC. Tell him certain words when he asks you for your opinion. Use this site: http://www.filb.de/games/tools/aikotoba to generate these words. This will unlock special box wallpapers and Pokemon eggs in your game.

  Collect all other twenty six Unown (A through Z), and the ! and ? Unown will appear in the Hall Entrance.

• National Pokdex

  Beat the Elite Four and then get the S.S. Ticket from Prof. Elm. Then, in Cianwood City, Oak will give you the National Dex. (You do NOT need to see all the Pokemon in the Johto Dex.)

• National Pokdex (Japanese Version)

  Encounter all 256 regional pokmon to complete the Johto Pokdex. After this, talk to Professor Elm to unlock the National Pokdex.

• Gameboy Music

  Go to Celadon City and go into the Celadon Condominiums (the building next to the Pokemon center). Go into the elevator and go to the 3rd floor. As soon as you walk out, your friend will tell you about the GB Sounds. After that, talk to the man next to the globe -- if you have Collected all of Kanto's badges, he'll give you the GB Sounds device.

• Free Shuckle

  In Cianwood City, if you go to the house on the bottom-left, make sure you have one spot in your party, a guy will tell you about your Rival coming in and stealing his Pokemon. He says all he has left is his Shuckle, who he doesn't want to get stolen, so he gives it to you!

• Mystery Goodies at Cerulean City in Kanto

  Pokemon! Suicune is easy to find, as long as youve seen it along route 14. From Cerulean City head up route 25 near Bills House to find it waiting. Pokemon! Head east onto route 9 and surf to the power plant. Talk to the guy near the computer and hell trade his Magneton and Metal Coat for a Dugtrio. Pokemon! Once youve got the Earth Badge, head to the Power Plant to find Zapdos.

• Mystery Goodies at Celadon City in Kanto

  Item! To get the GB Player for your PokeGear (itll play old Pokemon tunes) first get HM08 Rock Climb and then head to the tall building left of the Pokemon Center. Go to the third floor and look for a man near the globe.

• Mystery Goodies at Pewter City in Kanto

  Pokemon! In the Pokemon Center a man will trade his Xatu and Wacan Berry for your Haunter.

• Mystery Goodies at Viridian Forest in Kanto

  Item! You can find the Blue Flute near some steps not far into the forest.

  Pokemon! Oak will let you choose one of the original starter Pokemon as long as you won the epic encounter at the end of Mt Silver!

  Pokemon! You can get Moltres here as long as you have the Earth Badge, Surf, Waterfall and Rockclimb. Head left and up the waterfall from the entrance.

• Mystery Goodies at Dragons Den in Johto

  Item! The Dragon Fang can be found here essential as it powers up your Dragon-types moves by 20%.

• Mystery Goodies at Blackthorn City in Johto

  Move! There are three important people here. Theres the move Relearner, who will let you forget HM moves, while the Beam tutor will teach your starter Pokemon some very powerful moves. Theres also a woman wholl teach Dragon Pokemon Draco Meteor here, just as long as your Pokemon are happy, that is. Pokemon! In a house in east Blackthorn a girl will swap her Dodrio and Smoke Ball for a female Dragonair. Good luck finding one of those, though

• Mystery Goodies at Whirl Islands in Johto

  Pokemon! The home of the legendary Lugia. You SoulSilver players will need the Silver Wing from the old man in Pewter City. Youll also need Surf and the Wave or Clear Bell from the Kimono Girls in Ecruteak City.

• Mystery Goodies at Fuschia City in Kanto

  Item! A juggler near the park will trade you EV berries for shards handy for the more dedicated trainer.

• Mystery Goodies at Cinnabar Island in Kanto

  Pokemon! Once you have the Earth Badge, head out from Cinnabar on route 20 to Seafoam Island. Articuno is on the bottom.

• Legendary Pokemon Lugia

  To get Lugia in Soul Silver you need to obtain both the silver feather and the Tidal bell and then go through whirl islands. For Heart Gold you need to obtain the silver feather only and then go to whirl islands. SS-LV 45 HG-LV70

• Legendary Pokemon Latias/Latios (stationary)

  There will be a WI-FI event that gives you the Enigma stone. With that, go to the fossil place north of the first Kanto gym and Steven Stone will tell you that that's the Soul Dew. When you go outside, go left and you will see Latias (SS) or Latios (HG) LV40

• Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza

  To get Rayquaza, You need both the Groudon and Kyogre FROM HEART GOLD AND SOUL SILVER. It won't work if you trade one from Diamond Pearl or Platinum. It HAS to be from Heart Gold and Soul Silver. If you have done that then go to Pr. Oak with the Pokemon in your party, and you will get the Jade orb. Then go to Route 47 and the Hidden Tower. HG SS-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Groudon

  Groudon is found only in Soul Silver but the same exact way in Heart Gold for Kyogre. Just follow the instructions for Kyogre except you will get a Red orb and will face Groudon. SS-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Kyogre

  Kyogre is found only in Heart Gold after you have beaten Red. Once you have go to Pr. Oak and you will choose a Kanto starter. After that go to Mr. Pokemon and he will give you the Blue orb. Then go to the hidden tower in Route 47. In it you will find Kyogre. HG-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo

  I'm pretty sure you need 16 badges for Mewtwo. You will find it in its usual spot at Cerulean cave. Bring a REALLY strong pokemon or a master ball. HG SS-LV70

• Legendary Pokemon Moltres

  Like the other birds, 16 badges. Go to Mt. Silver And after a while of looking around you should find Moltres. HG SS-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Zapdos

  Like Articuno you wil need all 16 badges, then go to the power plant and all the way to the left you will find Zapdos outside. HG SS-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Articuno

  After you have earned all of the kanto badges, go to seafoam island and go to the bottom and you will find Articuno. HG SS-LV50

• Legendary Pokemon Suicune

  After you encounter Suicune in the burnt tower you will encounter it in 4 different places before you can battle and catch it. In order they are: North part of Cianwood city, outside of Mt. Mortar on route 42, next is Vermillion city, and last is route 14. Once you have encountered it in those four places it will be in route 25 right of bills old house. HG SS- LV40

• Legendary Pokemon Ho-Ho

  To get Ho-Ho in Heart Gold you need to obtain the rainbow wing and the Clear bell and then go to tin tower. For Soul Silver you need to obtain the rainbow wing only and go to tin tower. HG-LV 45 SS-LV70

• Mystery Goodies at Lake of Rage in Johto

  Pokemon! A must! Head to the centre of the lake to find a powerful red, shiny Gyarados. Item! Theres a Red Flute to the west. Youll need Surf to get it.

• Elite Four Upgrade

  After getting all of the Kanto badges, the Elite Four will receive an upgrade. Their Pokemon will be leveled up into the 50's and 60's (70's in Lance's case) and begin using Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokemon in their parties.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Blue

  After getting the Earth Badge, get one of your Pokemon massaged by Blue's sister Daisy in Pallet Town for five days in a row. She'll give you Blue's number after the fifth massage. Call him on Sunday afternoon and he'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 67 Exeggutor, Lvl 70 Tyranitar, Lvl 69 Machamp, Lvl 70 Rhyperior, Lvl 68 Arcanine, and Lvl 72 Pidgeot.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Blaine

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Blaine near the Cinnabar Island Pokemon Center on Tuesdays. He'll give you his phone number when you talk to him. Call him on Tuesday afternoon and he'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 54 Torkoal, Lvl 57 Camerupt, Lvl 54 Houndoom, Lvl 58 Magcargo, Lvl 60 Rapidash, and Lvl 62 Magmortar.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Falkner

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Falkner in the Celadon Department Store on Monday during morning or afternoon hours. He'll be on the fourth floor and will give you his phone number when you talk to him. Call Falkner on Saturday morning and he'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 50 Straptor, Lvl 52 Noctowl, Lvl 52 Swellow, Lvl 54 Honchkrow, Lvl 48 Pelipper, and Lvl 56 Pidgeot.

• National Dex

  First you must defeat the Elite Four once, then go to Olivine City and visit the S.S. Aqua ship to get the National Dex.

• Groundon

  After receiving 16 badges you can go to Mr. Pokemon and get the red orb and then go to route 47 and the embedded tower will be unlocked. Inside is Groundon.

• Get one of the Kanto Starters

  You get to pick one of the Kanto Starters after receiving 16 badges and beating Red.

• Original Music

  After beating all 16 gym leaders, go to the Game Freak building in Celadon (Pokemon Mansion). On the second floor, the sound director will give you the Game Boy Sounds key item, which will play music from the original Gold and Silver when turned on.

• Hoenn and Kanto Starters

  To find the Hoenn and Kanto starters, you need to beat all 16 gyms and beat Red. After you have beaten all of them, go talk to Professor Oak with an open slot in your party and he will let you choose a Kanto starter. Next, go to the Silph Company building in Saffron city and talk to Steven Stone. He will ask you to choose a color that corresponds to a Hoenn starter (Green = Treecko, Red = Torchic, Blue = Mudkip).

• Lugia

  You get Lugia at whirl island with the whirlpool on the right.

• Rayquaza

  To get Rayquaza, You need both the Groudon and Kyogre from Heart Gold and Soul Silver. It won't work if you trade one from Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum. It has to be from Heart Gold and Soul Silver. If you have done that then go to Pr. Oak with the Pokemon in your party and you will get the Jade orb. Then go to Route 47 and the Hidden Tower and you'll find Rayquaza at level 50.

• Mewtwo

  After you get your first 16 badges go to Cerulean cave. Make sure you have very strong pokemon or a master ball.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Bugsy

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Bugsy in the Viridian Forest on Thursday during morning or afternoon hours. He'll give you his phone number when you talk to him. Call him on Thursday afternoon and he'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 56 Scizor, Lvl 48 Shedinja, Lvl 52 Vespiqueen, Lvl 52 Yanmega, Lvl 54 Heracross, and Lvl 56 Pinsir.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Whitney

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Whitney in the Goldenrod Department Store between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday. She'll give you her phone number when you talk to her on the 6th floor. Call her on Saturday afternoon and she'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 52 Girafarig, Lvl 54 Delcatty, Lvl 54 Bibarel, Lvl 50 Lickilicky, Lvl 52 Clefable, and Lvl 58 Miltank.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Morty

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Morty outside the Bell Tower in Ecruteak City on Monday or Tuesday. He'll give you his phone number when you talk to him. Call him on Tuesday evening and he'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 52 Drifblim, Lvl 54 Mismagius, Lvl 52 Dusknoir, Lvl 52 Sableye, Lvl 57 Gengar, and another Lvl 57 Gengar.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Janine

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Janine outside the gate to Victory Road from the Kanto side everyday between 4pm and 8pm. She'll give you her phone number when you talk to her. Call her on Monday afternoon and she'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 52 Crobat, Lvl 55 Drapion, Lvl 52 Toxicroak, Lvl 58 Ariados, Lvl 56 Weezing, and Lvl 59 Venomoth.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Sabrina

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Sabrina outside the Olivine Harbor on Fridays. She'll give you her phone number when you talk to her. Call her on Sunday afternoon and she'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 60 Alakazam, Lvl 53 Gallade, Lvl 58 Espeon, Lvl 54 Jynx, Lvl 56 Mr. Mime, and Lvl 53 Wobbuffet.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Erica

  After getting the Earth Badge, find Erica outside her gym on Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm. She'll give you her phone number when you talk to her. Call her on Sunday morning and she'll wait in the Saffron Dojo for a rematch with a Lvl 54 Shiftry, Lvl 56 Victreebel, Lvl 56 Bellossom, Lvl 60 Tangrowth, Lvl 55 Roserade, and Lvl 53 Jumpluff.

• Rematch with Gym Leader Lt. Surge

  After getting the Earth Badge and capturing (but not defeating) Zapdos, find Lt. Surge at the Power Plant everyday between 9am and 12pm. He'll give you his phone number if you have a Pikachu from the Viridian Forest in your party.
