As you put the finishing touches on your Thor codpiece in preparation for going to see The Avengers this weekend, you can be secure in the knowledge that the movie will live on as a virtual pinball table. Zen Studios announced an Avengers table for Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX 2 today, coming as part of the "Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles" four-table pack.

Microsoft has detailed the content coming for the next couple of weeks on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

This week's Xbox Live Arcade titles include Backbreaker Vengeance ($15 / 1200 MSP), Half-Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax ($10 / 800 MSP), and Galaga Legions DX ($10). Next week will bring a bounty of Deadliest Warrior: Legends ($10). Read more »

XBLA's Pinball FX 2 Delayed Until October 27

Good news and bad news virtual pinball fanatics: the upcoming Pinball FX 2 from developer Zen Studios has been delayed; however, you won't have to wait long for the release. Pinball FX 2 was set to be the penultimate release of Microsoft's current Game Feast promotion--the game was originally set to launch tomorrow but will now arrive on October 27.

The core game of Pinball FX 2 will be made available for free, with the ability to import tables from the original title in the series, which launched on the XBLA in 2007. Although there is now a gap in the current promotion, the press release outlining the delay still makes a point in referring to Pinball FX 2 as part of the Game Feast campaign, which next will add Super Meat Boy to its digital platter on October 20. Xbox Live September Schedule Brings Hydrophobia, Comic Jumper, Super Meat Boy and More

Xbox Live's Major Nelson has revealed the complete Marketplace schedule for the month of September.

As was previously revealed, September brings with it a new Arcade promotion, dubbed the Game Feast--which probably would have made more sense in November during Thanksgiving. With it, the Arcade adds Hydrophobia, Super Meat Boy, Comic Jumper, and Pinball FX 2. Read more »

XBLA 'Game Feast' Promotion Features Super Meat Boy, Comic Jumper, Hydrophobia and Pinball FX 2

Microsoft has just revealed a new Xbox Live Arcade promotion, akin to the recently concluded Summer of Arcade.

The Xbox Live Arcade "Game Feast" begins September 29 and runs until October 20. Included are Twisted Pixel's latest title Comic Jumper, Team Meat's remake Super Meat Boy, Dark Energy Digital's Hydrophobia and Pinball FX 2.
