Mega-publisher Electronic Arts has issued a breakdown of the games it will display next week at E3 2010, offering new release dates and windows for a few titles in the process.
RISK: Factions, the downloadable Xbox 360-exclusive revamp of the classic board game, will arrive on June 23, 2010.
Meanwhile, EA SPORTS NBA JAM--a Wii exclusive--will hit in October alongside the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of the recently renamed NBA ELITE 11. Read more »

Developer and publisher Electronic Arts today announced NHL Slapshot, "their first ever NHL hockey title for the Wii" which apparently features a "revolutionary" hockey stick controller.
EA boasts that the controller, which has yet to be revealed, "allows players to shoot, pass and body check just like the pros."
Little is known of NHL Slapshot other than that players will be able to "play from the Pee Wee's to the Pros" and that Wayne Gretzky will be a playable character. The Great One will also appear on the box art, leading EA to spend far more time explaining his greatness than explaining what the game actually offers. Read more »

Southend Interactive's modern-day revamp of Tecmo's classic footballer will be downloadable on Xbox 360 on April 28, Tecmo and Microsoft have confirmed.
Priced at 800 Microsoft Points / $10, Tecmo Bowl Throwback offers players the choice of both old-school and updated visuals, plus online and offline multiplayer for two. Read more »

Tecmo Bowl returns! Tecmo Koei America has tapped Southend Interactive (XIII, Lode Runner XBLA) to create an updated version of the classic football game: Tecmo Bowl Throwback.The title, which will be released this spring on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network was revealed along with nostalgia-pumping screenshots.
