Need for Speed Carbon Tips & Tricks

  • Get out of your car

    Once you have disabled 5 Police Cars in a Police Chase,hit any truck twice and you will be walking on the road as long as you want.

  • Crew members

    Neville: Available at start. Sal: Joins after four to six races. Yumi: Joins after defeating Kenji/Bushido. Colin: Joins after defeating Wolf/TFK. Samson: Joins after defeating Angie/21st Street. Nikki: Joins after defeating all three beginning Bosses.

  • Easy money

    Once you have completed career mode, set Samson as your wingman with Neville also in your crew. You can repeat any races you have already completed in which a wingman is used and recieve $750 for each race completed instead of the $500 without. This can also be used on first time races for maximum cash output.

  • Easy wins

    In races where crew members are used, used a scout (Yumi if possible). If you do not win the race, your scout will.

  • Easier Speedtrap races

    Activate your Blocker/Brawler before the race. While racing and you are coming up to a speed trap, stop your Blocker/Brawler. This will crash the other car(s), and drastically slow down their time. Remember that the peak Blocker/Brawler moment is just before the speed trap.

  • Easy Wins (2)

    When you are about to start racing and the countdown says 321, you have to accelerate your car before the race starts (You can also use nitrous before the race.) and you will get a speed boost.

  • Easy money

  • Faster Turn

    Most people think that all they have to do to be first is to use their nitrous, use shortcuts, and tune their engines to top speed. But another thing to do is to go in the inside curves. This saves about 5 seconds of your time. What I mean is that if the next curve is to the right , you can stay as close to the right wall as possible without hitting it while doing the turn. This shortens the track. If you noticed, most of the shortcuts are located at the inside of the next turn. This is why shortcuts are fast.

  • Shortcuts That Appear Only When You Hit 400 mph

    If you think you've found out all of the shortcuts, you may be wrong. I was trying to win a sprint race when suddenly, a loud BANG!!! comes from my game.The place looked fuzzy for a moment then the wall to my left had an unbelivable shortcut that took me directly to the finish. The BANG came every time I hit 400 mph. So I am sure it would work on your game. Tell me if this tip does not work.
