• Sparring with Johnny Cage

  There is a side mission in Konquest Mode in Outworld near the spot where Li Mei is standing. Go to the corner of the area behind her and you will find Johnny Cage. If you decide to spar with him, you will have to land a 12-hit combo. Sounds tough, but fortunately, he doesn't fight back. The character you control is chosen at random. Exit out of the fight unless Liu Khang is chosen (yes, you can play as him, but he must be unlocked first). While in his first fighting stance (Jun Fan I believe), scroll down in his moves list until you see his move that links his first two fighting stances together. Use that on Johnny Cage. It will launch him in the air. When he is still airborn, use Liu Khang's signature Flying Bicycle Kick. If you do it right, you should get a 14-hit combo: more than enough to win.

• How to select alternate costumes

  So, you've possibly bought alternate costumes, but you ask yourself, "How do I select them?" Well, after purchasing an alternate costume, press Start while highlighting the character the costume is for, and it will select their alternate costume. Remember that you have to buy the costume, not the bio. Some alternate costumes are... Scorpion- MK4 Look Jade- Original MK3 Look Kira- Red Top and Shorts Darius- Weird Disco Kinda Look Li Mei- Armor, which looks kinda weird on her Raiden- No Hat and slightly different suit Sub-Zero- Mask and different armor, top-not sorta thing These are only a few. Every character has an alternate costume, these are just some off the top of my head. What? Do you think I would spoil everything for you?

• Fatalities

  Certain fatalities must be done at a specific distance, as indicated below. Close: As close as possible to opponent Sweep: From close, tap Away(2). Outside Sweep: From sweep, tap Away once more Far: Full screen away

• Nether Realm

  In the Nether Realm the people talk backwards so you can record and rewind it, then enjoy what they're saying.

• Random Select

  At the character select screen highlight Scorpion and press Up+Start.

• Kill Onaga Easy

  When you unlock the Liu Kang fight with Onaga do a special move bicycle kick. It will inflict double damage on Onaga.

  Do the normal combo until it the X, Up, B portion. Instead of those buttons, press X, A. Do not wait to press A; press it immediately after X. This will make your opponent bounce in the air, allowing you to continue your combo. When your opponent is at the same level as Raiden's head, press X as many times as possible. This will give you a 12-hit combo and sometimes 40% damage. You can use this on Johnny Cage when you must do a 12-hit combo.

• Mocap

  In Orderrealm, there is a person who walks in the place near the most outer circle of the city. He is wearing motion capture clothes (used in movie and game production to create computerized characters). The costume has dots all over a blue background and covers everything except for his face. You cannot talk to him, but if you punch him he drops a key for a fighting style video.

• Hotaru

  After you have been captured and become an old man, or anytime after you have finished Konquest mode, go to Orderrealm, H-1. There a long bridge, and when it forks, take the fork until you can go no further. Meditate until the chest appears. REMEMBER: Whenever Meditation is used, always give it a full day for the chest to appear.

• Fatality distances

  Some fatalities must be done at a specific distance, as indicated as follows. Close: As close as possible to opponent Sweep: From close, tap Away(2). Outside Sweep: From sweep, tap Away once more Far: Full screen away
