Sony's San Diego studio is known for their quality work on the MLB The Show series. Year after year, critics have called it the best baseball game in the biz, beating Take-Two's MLB 2K series. However, that wasn't the only sports franchise that called San Diego its home. The studio also worked on NBA The Inside, a series that disappeared after its 2008 release.

Some games can be played across both PS3 and PS Vita. Some of these games need to purchased all over again, like Capcom's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Other games can be played on both machines with one purchase, like Hustle Kings and MotorStorm RC. And now, other games will be discounted when purchasing both versions.
MLB 12: The Show has a number of cross-platform features, such as a universal save file between both versions. To persuade you to take advantage of these features, Sony is offering a discount when purchasing both versions of the game.

MLB 12: The Show's March release is only about a month away, but details on the game's 'cross-platform save' feature have been scant. Today, questions were answered as Sony Computer Entertainment has finally revealed how the feature, which allows folks to share savegames between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, will function. More details about some of the improvements to the game's Franchise Mode were also shared.

Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed some new features that will be making their way into the next installment of its long-running baseball simulation series. MLB 12: The Show will apparently be doing a few things differently this year in aid to bridging the traditional divides between the series' online and offline play.

The PlayStation Vita is due out in just over a month on February 22, but electronics are expensive. What's a cash-strapped gamer to do? You could sell your blood, or you could down some inexpensive, slightly questionable Tex-Mex food for a shot at winning one.
Sony and Taco Bell announced the "Unlock the Box" promotion today, which will give away one Vita system every 15 minutes beginning on January 26, before it launches in stores.

The middle of December might not be the usual time to think about the great American past time, but we've gotten some new details surrounding next year's MLB 12: The Show. According to community manager Ramone Russell, the team is especially hard at work on improving the presentation of players, commentary, and ball physics for this year's installment.
