Konami's Hideo Kojima has revealed HD collections for three of its most beloved franchises: Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders, and Silent Hill.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will come to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and include Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Strangely, the original Metal Gear Solid is absent from the collection. The game had previously been revamped for release on the GameCube by developer Silicon Knights in Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. The Metal Gear Solid Collection is scheduled to arrive this November. Konami released a second patch for Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, updating the game to v2.0. The new patch takes care of a language selection issue.

Gotten all kinds of reports from people saying Metal Gear Solid 2, the game for Playstation2 owners to get is out on shelves in a few places. We've seen all the gaming website reviewers slinging their spunk everywhere all excited about the game. As pleasant of an experience as that was... anyone else out there already get it and play it some? I imagine a lot of people around now are just getting home from work with their copies so here's a thread to discuss what you think of it. [screenshots] Oh try not to post too many spoilers, or give a warning at least first. :) Whadya think?

Mmmmm... yummy... Metal Gear Solid 2... The IGN guys were lucky enough to play the demo of the upcoming Playstation2 game which may be the 'killer app' for the console that Sony has been hoping for.

DailyRadar has managed to get some new video footage of gameplay from Metal Gear Solid2 which was spooge-a-rific at E3 last year. The new video is a wacked out 101 megs to download, but worth it if you have the means. They call it 'the Ultimate Trailer'
