Super Street Fighter IV
Street Fighter raked in the awards this past year and in classic fashion Capcom plans to bring it back this year with a Super version. Not a whole new game but not an update to SF4 either, Super adds more online modes, stages, and adds ten more characters, including two new ones. Here at CES they let me play the first of these to be revealed, Juri. She's the first Korean character to the series and the first to use the Tae Kwon Do fighting style. Read more »

Capcom has released the first screenshots and trailer for Mega Man 10, the latest downloadable entry in the classic action platformer series.

The trailer also reveals the 'Easy Mode,' which Capcom says "will allow more fans to indulge in the challenges that make the series great" and seemingly simplifies jumping puzzles. 'Mega Man Challenges' meanwhile will apparently "allow players to practice their skills and prepare for the hair-raising adventures ahead of them." Read more »

As expected but previously unconfirmed, the latest of Mega Man's downloadable side-scrolling adventures will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in addition to the Wii.

As 2009 draws to a close, Nintendo is urging us to look ahead, as it today issued a list specifying some, but not all, of the games scheduled to hit Wii and Nintendo DS in North American between January 1 and March 31, 2010.
On the Nintendo-published side of things, Endless Ocean: Blue World (January 22) is currently the company's only retail Wii release for the quarter, with Nintendo DS getting Glory of Heracles (January 18), Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver (March 14), then WarioWare: D.I.Y. and America's Test Kitchen: Let's Get Cooking on March 28. According to the cover of the next issue of Nintendo Power magazine "Retro Mega Man is back!"
Details are sparse so far; however, we do know that the latest Mega Man game will eventually roll out via Nintendo's downloadable WiiWare channel, include brand new levels and features, and feature someone (or something?) called "Sheep Man!"
Based on the recent history of Mega Man's other offerings, we can only speculate that Mega Man 10 will also make its way to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network, eventually. Read more »
