Remastered Mass Effect Trilogy for PS4 & Xbox One 'discussions' happening

BioWare is discussing the possibility of releasing the Mass Effect Trilogy on PS4 and Xbox One. A fan tweeted about the possibility of making a 1080p version with high-res textures and support for 60 frames per second--much like the recently-released "Definitive Edition" of Tomb Raider.

Field Report: Mass Effect PS3

Today, PS3 owners will be able to get their hands on a long-awaited port: the original Mass Effect. After years of being exclusive to Xbox 360 and PC, the port can be purchased as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy at retail, or as a standalone $15 download on the PlayStation Store.

We had a quick test of the retail version of the game, just to see how the Edge of Reality-developed port stands up.

Mass Effect Trilogy coming to PS3 on December 4

The Mass Effect Trilogy, which includes a new-for-PS3 port of the first game in the series, will be available on PlayStation 3 on December 4th, BioWare has announced. The compilation will be available at both retail and on PlayStation Network; the original game can be downloaded as a standalone game on PSN as well.

Mass Effect Trilogy's included DLC detailed

When BioWare announced the Mass Effect Trilogy, one key detail was missing: would any DLC be included? Given its budget price, many were expecting the compilation to omit any downloadable add-ons, preventing it from being a truly definitive re-release. Apparently, there will be some DLC included in the box, depending on which platform you're playing on.
