Madden NFL 11 Tips & Tricks

  • Unlocking the "Pick Up 6" Achievement

    The best way to get this Achievement is to play in the snow, with Offsides turned off, and force a situation where the CPU starts at their own 1-yard line. Go on offense and move towards the end zone, but make sure to always run out of bounds at the opponent's 1-yard line and turn the ball over on downs. With the snow making a fumble easier, run behind the line of scrimmage and grab whoever has the ball. Forcing a fumble should be easy and you'll unlock the Achievement when you recover the fumble. If you don't get it the first time, enable Unlimited Rewinds and try again.

  • Unlocking the "Sack Master" Achievement

    Before starting a game, disable Offsides. This allows you to run behind the line of scrimmage and ambush the opposing QB as soon as he gets the ball. You'll unlock the Achievement as soon as you record you 5th sack.

  • Unlocking the "Defensive Dominance" Achievement

    Before starting a game, disable Offsides. This allows you to run behind the line of scrimmage and ambush the opposing QB as soon as he gets the ball. Your opponent will soon rack up negative yards and you'll easily hold them to under 100 yards of offense. You unlock the Achievement at the end of the game.

  • Unlocking the "Did I Break It?" Achievement

    Set the opponent to the lowest skill setting and disable Offsides. With the deck stacked in your favor, sack the QB repeatedly and take advantage of every safety. You should have no problem racking up a 59-point lead and unlocking this Achievement.

  • Unlocking the "Very Special Teams" Achievement

    Set the opponent to a low (but not the lowest) skill level and 15-minute quarters. Make sure to turn the ball over on downs at your own 1 and allow the CPU to score. Return the kickoff for a TD and repeat the steps, if necessary. Safety kicks and punts do NOT count.
