The upcoming Mexican wrestler simulator, Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring has been knocked out of its original August release and won't recover until the fall. Today, first time publisher Slang revealed the title will hit stores on October 12, 2010. According to the press release announcing the delay, the move was to made to take advantage of a holiday release, allowing the publisher to better market the title.
Distributed by Konami, the upcoming wrestling title features "more than 30 different real life luchadores" and inspired online modes, such as "Mask vs. Hair" battles. Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring has yet to be rated by the ESRB; however, we expect an ELC rating for "El Caliente!"

Konami's all set to publish an officially licensed take on the free-form wrestling popular in some Spanish-speaking countries, and to prove it, the company has passed along an assorted handful of screenshots from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 edition:
Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP, Lucha Libre AAA Heroes of the Ring and its luchadores are expected to hit North America in early August.
