The PlayStation Network will be coming back online in various Asian territories tomorrow, says Sony. The planned restoration includes Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malasia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
The announcement was paired with game giveaways planned for the territory. Like the Welcome Back offers in the US and Europe, PSN members can select two PS3 and two PSP games from the choices. The PS3 line-up is The Last Guy, LocoRoco!! BuuBuu Cocoreccho!, Echochrome, Wipeout HD, and Hustler King. The PSP choices are Yuhshanokuseninamaikida, Everybody's Stress Buster, Patapon 2, LittleBigPlanet PSP,, and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival. Read more »

SCEA's Halloween-themed PSP sequel to the roly-poly LocoRoco franchise hits the PlayStation Network on October 29, according to Sony.
16 stages, competitive and co-op modes, two mini-games and additional bonuses will be included in the $15 game. Sony's promising more details on the multiplayer next week, but in the meantime, check out a few new screenshots of the game below.

Not content to release a slapdash sequel with last year's bounce tech, SCEA is soon bringing the downloadable LocoRoco Midnight Carnvial to the PSP.
In addition to 16 stages, 3 minigames and 2 bonus stages, the spooky Midnight Carnival boasts advanced "boing" technology, a feature demonstrated in the following video:
