Lonely Lothario Larry Laffer has been forced to delay his return to the public spotlight about a month, as Replay Games has announced it is delaying the release of Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded until late June.
Leisure Suit Larry has been getting the HD treatment from Replay Games after its successful Kickstarter, and the awkward little man in search of love should be making his return on May 31, Replay Games CEO Paul Trowe told Shacknews today.
That lovable loser Larry Laffer is getting remade in HD, but unfortunately his coming out party is going to be a bit delayed. An update on the Leisure Suit Larry HD Kickstarter page reveals that the game will be coming out in late May "at the earliest."

The campaign to fan-fund Leisure Suit Larry HD, a remake of Al Lowe's sleazy adventure game wrapped up yesterday at $673,602, having passed its goal of $500,000 last week.
Larry, that smarmy little Lethario in a leisure suit, will be returning to your computer in reloaded form, thanks to developer Replay Games achieving its Kickstarter goal of $500,000 earlier today, with seven days still left in the campaign.
You all supported Double Fine's Kickstarter adventure to smashing success, kicking off a flurry of other Kickstarter game projects like the recent Takedown. So with those projects out of the way, how do you feel about funding a sad, desperate Lothario who may be well past his prime?
2012 marks the 25th anniversary of the Leisure Suit Larry series, and while the last several offerings in the franchise haven't been very good, it looks like Larry Laffer is poised to return in both a high-definition remake of the original game--Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards--as well as all-new adventures. Developer Replay Games has recently secured the rights to the franchise, and are bringing series-creator Al Lowe back on board.
