The latest trailer for Riot Games' upcoming multiplayer title League of Legends showcases a number of the game's unique heroes. Created by former developers of the Warcraft 3 mod Defense of the Ancients, League is directly inspired by the mod, offering a similar brand of gameplay along with a few new persistent elements.
League of Legends was recently scheduled for a September release on PC.

Developer Riot Games has detailed another dueo of playable champions in its DotA-styled action-RTS League of Legends, releasing a batch of screens in the process.

Good Old Games has announced that it will begin selling classic PC games published by Apogee Software, starting with the immediate availability of Duke Nukem 3D.
For $5.99, buyers will be able to download the Atomic Edition of Duke Nukem 3D, billed as the "most complete version" of 3D Realms' ass-kicking, bubblegum-chewing shooter. As with all other GOG releases, the download is DRM-free. Read more »

Riot Games today announced League of Legends, a PC game based on the popular Warcraft 3 multiplayer mod Defense of the Ancients.
Riot was co-founded by original DotA Allstars co-creator Guinsoo, and the team reportedly includes other DotA veterans. As such, League of Legends is staying true to the DotA formula, where players level up a single avatar amongst a giant battle of smaller armies. Update: 3D Realms' George Broussard has confirmed to Shacknews that the Xbox Live Arcade edition of Duke Nukem 3D is indeed complete, has passed certification and is due out "soon."
"We officially passed final cert on our first try Friday, August 15th," said Broussard. When asked about a possible price point, he noted that it will be "about what you'd expect." While Broussard's comments are open to interpretation, most XBLA releases are priced between 800 ($10) and 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). Read more »
