Before Naughty Dog went on to create the Uncharted series for PlayStation 3, it worked on the Jak & Daxter franchise. While the characters are a bit furrier than Nathan Drake and company, it's interesting to discover similarities between the two series.
The Jak & Daxter series is the next Sony franchise to get the HD collection treatment. Coming in February, the Jak and Daxter Collection includes Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed a Jax & Daxter collection is in the works. Rumors of a collection resurfaced earlier today when a German ratings board listed the title on its website.
"We can confirm the Jak and Daxter Collection is coming and will have more news to share shortly," an SCEA representative told IGN.

Sony may be adding another series to its growing list of HD collections, according to one small retailer that seems to have spilled the beans early. If the report is accurate, we'll see Jak and Daxter titles compiled for a collection in early 2012. The PS2-era mascots would make sense for Sony's next compilation, even if details are more than a little thin so far.
