Sure, we're still over a month away until Injustice: Gods Among Us' launch. But, don't be surprised that NetherRealm is working on DLC for the upcoming superhero fighting game.
The "Blackest Night" DLC was outed as an Amazon pre-order bonus in Germany, and it offers zombie-themed skins for all the heroes. In addition, the add-on promises to add a "zombie mode," whatever that entails. While WB has yet to announce US plans for the expansion, it is incredibly likely to find release Stateside.

Alternate skins are old hat for video game pre-order bonuses, but being based on the long legacy of DC Comics gives Injustice: Gods Among Us a little more freedom to play with its history. "Red Son" is one of the most well-regarded alternate-universe stories in recent DC history, and a new developer diary features NetherRealm talking about turning that into a pre-order bonus.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is adding yet another character to its roster of superheroes and villains punching and kicking each other: Aquaman.
The story behind the appearance of the King of the Seven Seas apparently revolves around a treaty he signed with the Regime, but Aquaman apparently is having second thoughts.

"What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat?" That is the tagline that sells Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm Studios' DC Universe brawler. For months, we've seen Superman duke it out with Batman--but why? What could possibly cause all these heroes (and villains) to go all Mortal Kombat on each other?

Warner Bros has unveiled another pugilist from fight 'em up Injustice: Gods Among Us's lineup, confirming the stabby-shooty Deathstroke for its DC Comics brawl-o-rama. "Who's Deathstroke?" you may ask. Why, he's the mercenary Deadpool ripped off, only less interesting than Marvel's character turned out to be.

NetherRealm and Warner Bros were smart to get all of the obvious DC superheroes appearing in Injustice: Gods Among Us out of the way first. No one would be surprised when they revealed that Batman or Wonder Woman would be in the game. So now the character revelation roll-out can rely on slightly more surprising entries, like today's announcement of Green Arrow.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is a veritable who's who of DC's most well-known comic characters. So it should come as no surprise that Batman's lithe on-again, off-again romance will be clawing her way into the line-up. Warner Bros announced Catwoman as part of the roster today, who will fight among other announced characters like Cyborg, Superman, The Flash, and Wonder Woman.
