Update: Square Enix has confirmed these details in a press release, with the official title as Hitman HD: Trilogy.

If Hitman: Absolution has made you curious to go back and take on Agent 47's greatest hits, you're just in luck. A retail listing, along with sets of achievements and trophies, indicate that an HD collection is on its way early next year.

Square Enix launches ad-supported browser game portal

Square Enix is launching a new Web-based gaming portal that offers some of the company's back catalog for free. The "CoreOnline" service lets you play Hitman: Blood Money or Mini Ninjas by either watching advertisements between chunks of the games, or paying a fee to bypass them.

Hitman 'Triple Pack' for PS3 spotted at retail

With Hitman Absolution on the horizon, it appears Square Enix is looking to compile an "HD Collection" of Agent 47's PS2-era adventures. A new retail listing for the Hitman Triple Pack includes convincing-looking box art. According to the listing, the bundle will include Silent Assassin, Contracts, and Blood Money.

Hitman: Blood Money coming to PlayStation 3

Hot on the heels of the revelation that the original Killzone is making the trek to the PlayStation 3 as a downloadable game, an ESRB rating has outed another PS2-for-PSN game. PlayStation 3 has been added to the list of platforms for Hitman: Blood Money.

Writer Hired for Hitman Film Sequel

A sequel to the film adaptation of Hitman is in production, according to a new report by movie site IESB.

Writer Kyle Ward, also attached to the Kane & Lynch adaptation, is handling the script for Hitman 2. Producers Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon will return.

The original Hitman was released in 2007, with Deadwood veteran Timothy Olyphant in the starring role. Despite dismal reviews, the film eventually raked in $99.9 million at the box office.
