Green Day: Rock Band is, essentially, a game that tells you everything you need to know in its title. Pairing developer Harominx's established perpheral-based gameplay with a subtly modified gameplay structure introduced by The Beatles: Rock Band, it offers up the chance to sing along with and play guitar, bass, and drums on forty-seven tracks by Green Day, with support for six additional downloadable tunes.

Following up on The Beatles: Rock Band, series creator Harmonix is preparing a Green Day-focused entry in its rhythm game franchise, which will include the band's likenesses along with real-life venues, and, of course, various Green Day tunes.

Then again, this isn't Where the Wild Things Are, after all; it's Where the Wild Things Are: The Movie: The Videogame. In which you fight bugs and, like all good members of gaming royalty, swing from poles. Read more »
