Today's Filter features a ShackVideo version of the Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D trailer as well as new screens for BioShock Infinite, DC Universe Online, and the PC version of Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Brightens Retail Store Shelves on November 29

The highly-anticipated return to the world of Golden Sun is almost at an end. Today, Nintendo revealed Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for the Nintendo DS will launch in North America on November 29.

Golden Sun was first introduced to gamers by developer Camelot Software Planning in 2001. Soon afterwards, Camelot released a sequel to the popular GameBoy Advance title. After finally being revealed at E3 2009, the third installment in the RPG series will see life on the Nintendo DS. We're hopeful the seven year wait was worth it.

Golden Sun DS Subtitled Dark Dawn

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is the name of the Nintendo DS entry in Camelot's long-stagnant portable role-playing series, Nintendo announced at E3 2010.

The game takes place a generation after the previous entries, and is due "this holiday."

'Totally New Pokemon Title' Revealed as Nintendo Lists Upcoming DS Games

It wasn't all Wii for Nintendo this morning, as a presentation and documents from company also listed its upcoming Nintendo DS games, including word from company president Satoru Iwata of "the first brand new Pokemon title in 4 years."

Mario and Golden Sun DS RPGs Announced

Two new RPG titles were today announced for the Nintendo DS, in addition to a "gritty" open world shooter from Ubisoft.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, scheduled for a fall release, is a new Mario RPG set inside Bowser himself, while Golden Sun DS--set for a 2010 release--marks a return of the classic franchise to Nintendo hardware.

Ubisoft's Cop: The Recruit will put players in the role of a new police recruit in an open world setting. The 3D title was briefly shown in a short trailer. Read more »
