A new patch for the original Freedom Force has been released, updating the game to version 1.3. This new release fixes a problem where the game wouldnt run under Windows XP SP2. Thanks Mok.

Irrational Games sends word they have opened ModForce.com, a new site for the Freedom Force mod community. With the opening of the site comes the release of the FF Editor, which allows you to create/modify content for the recently released superheroes RPG.

Gamespot managed to get the first five screenshots from the new superhero action/adventure game which was announced yesterday, Hero X. Doesn't look as cool as Freedom Force.
